Hall of Fame

NIck Perry

Nicky Perry was unanimously inducted into the HIGHLOWJACK HALL OF FAME ON June 18, 2014.  Mr. Perry was one of the great players of his time, his phrases, like "Stevie boy I am going to bid 3", and his constant yelling of "Wrong Suit!!" no matter what or who the person winning the bidding did, was an earthshaking change in the playing of the game.  His complete mastery of numbers, which went all the way back to his days in 8th grade Algebra was the subject of awe throughout New England for many years.  Heaven received one great player and we know he is up there playing right now, "Wrong suit Nicky!" until we meet again.

Abraham Lincoln

Could this be Pres. Lincoln about to play some HILOWJACK? An avid card player, Lincoln is considered the father of the game!

Lincoln was a unanimous selection as the first person inducted into the HLJ Hall of Fame, located in Fort Collins Colorado!  A great leader of men, the man who held the country together. Lincoln was an uncanny card player and spread the word of HLJ whenever he could.  Some say it took longer for the South to pick up the game after the Civil War.
